Meet SONNY

Sonny ?came to us as a stray when he was discovered alongside BUSY I-40 by a passing motorist!! YIKES!! ?? He must have known his finder/angel was there to help him, because he immediately hopped right in when the motorist pulled over and opened her door! Sonny hopped right into the driver seat and they both waited for Animal Control Officers to come and assist, making sure both the motorist/angel and Sonny were safe!Once here to the shelter, Sonny waited to see if any family came to find him... but, he is looking for a new home now, so I guess we all know the answer to that question. Well, have NO fear Sonny! We happen to have LOTS of people who follow us who LOVE Rotties, almost as much as WE do! He is SUCH a sweet and friendly guy, ALL 83.10 pounds of him!! We don't know how he does with cats or children since he was a stray, but he had a great interaction with a dog friend here, and they just both sniffed and peed!! It was great! He is a relatively calm guy and is thought to be around 4 years of age and he walks great on a leash! While he may pull a little, we can say it's not a hard pull, at all! Please come and meet this sweet boy in person to learn more about him! We open at 12pm tomorrow and are a first come, first serve, in-person adoption center. His fee is 8??0??! We always recommend meet and greets in person with other dogs and children with whom our dogs will share a home and spend time, prior to adoption.
