If interested, please contact the foster home, Petfinder Profiles doesn’t always work. 16 week old female blue heeler.  Ellie is all heeler! Well in attitude anyway. She looks to be full heeler also but she definitely acts like one! Ellie is a good girl, crate trained and working on house training. She is up to any game you throw at her! She loves water and tumbling over and over with my older cattle dog. I have seen her attempt to warn my girl that she better stay away from her food but you know how well that goes over!. She will run and play with kids but can also settle down for quiet time. She will chase cats, chickens & horses but backs down as soon as they stop and go after her. Basically, she is doing what she was bred to do but is easily redirected. She is extremely smart and easily trainable. I think Ellie could go any direction you wanted to go. I’m sure she could be competitive in dog sports, be a helping hand on farm or a great hiking partner. She currently is living with 3 other dogs and is getting along with all of them but I can see her wanting to be the dominant dog when she gets older.    Ellie is current in all puppy shots ( scheduled for her next one July 9), flea & tick prevention and heartworm protection. She is loving life with her foster family in Salem Ohio. For questions about Ellie or more info, email [email protected].  Complete an Application: https://www.acdra.org/adoption-application
