Meet Davenport

Davenport is our happy go lucky pity pup! She has loved everyone she’s met and wants to go play with every dog she sees. She is very sweet, confident and loves to go for walks and run around with her stuffy toys! Her leash walking has already improved and she is a very moderate puller but it is still a work in progress. She is very smart and loves to work with her people learning all her new tricks! There are a lot of great things to say about her but just look at that pretty face! If you want a forever best friend to go on new adventures with and to cuddle with on the couch Davy would be thrilled to fill the spot!     APPROXIMATE WEIGHT:  32 lbs. ESTIMATED DOB:  10/18/2024 GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS:   GOOD WITH KIDS:  yes GOOD WITH CATS:  unknown REQUIRES A FENCE:  no ACTIVITY LEVEL:  high LIKES TO VOCALIZE:  some SPECIAL NEEDS: no BREED EXPERIENCE NEEDED:  no APPROPRIATE PLACEMENT FOR 1ST TIME DOG OWNER?  yes FREE OBEDIENCE TRAINING IS OFFERED WITH ALL DOG ADOPTIONS Please note that we are often asked if dogs are "house trained".  The dogs are in fact living in a kennel environment during their time with us.  Even if they have previously lived in a home and been trained - the stress of the change and the new home can sometimes cause regression and require some additional training.  We feel that it's best for all adopters to be prepared for this possibility.

Adoption Process
Fill out an adoption application, we will review it and call references, have the potential adopter meet with one of our animal care experts and the animal. If it is a good match for both the animal and the family then an adoption contract is filled out. Adoption prices vary depending on animal.
