Meet JEFF

Introducing Jeff, our charming, handsome, 2-year-old Norwegian Elkhound with a heart as big as his fluffy coat.  Despite a rocky start in life, Jeff's resilient spirit shines through, even if he's a bit shy and timid at first.  He has been part of a breeder flock that was overwhelmed in numbers and the breeder decided to stop breeding.  She has asked Critter Cavalry to please help place some of her adult dogs that need some special attention and one-on-one love.  This gorgeous purebred has all the makings of a loyal companion for life.  As a Norwegian Elkhound, Jeff embodies the best qualities of his breed; intelligence, loyalty and a gentle nature.  However, he'll need a special someone who can provide the patience, time and structured environment he needs to blossom.  With a little bit of love and understanding, Jeff is sure to come out of his shell and show his true colors.  We are wanting a home with another confident dog, a fenced yard and the ability to be outside for hours as he is such an outdoorsy guy.  Jeff is longing for a loving home where he can learn that humans are friends and explore the joys of life with a devoted family by his side.  If you're ready to open your heart and home to this deserving pup, you'll be rewarded with endless loyalty, companionship and the joy of watching Jeff thrive in his new environment.  Give Jeff the chance he deserves and you'll be amazed at the love and happiness he brings into your life.  This breed of dog is getting scarce and you will not find any of them in the U.S. in the next 10 years.  He is one of a kind.  Please email us at [email protected] if you are interested.  Mention where you live please; city and state. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
