Meet Mylo
Mylo, whose full name is "Mylo Midnight Moon", came to us from a shelter in Philadelphia, where he was surrendered by his previous owner due to the owner's declining health. He is very friendly with people he knows, however does get over aroused and fearful with new people entering the home, which has resulted in multiple bites. He is currently beginning behavioral modification training with our team and will need an understanding adopter who is willing to continue working with him and his behavioral needs. Mylo is good in the car, and enjoys traveling! He did very well in his crate on the drive from Philly to Albany, where he was originally being fostered, and is now currently in Cobleskill, NY working on training with SUNY Cobleskill's Canine Behavior and Management team. In his previous home he lived harmoniously with a male cat, and an older child. At a hefty 14.3lbs, Mylo is an ideal size for many homes. Additional information about this pet will be updated shortly as we learn more about him. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] if you are interested in learning more in the meantime!
Adoption Process
Our application includes reference checks and a home visit to ensure responsible adoptions. Upon approval, we have an adoption contract and an adoption fee that covers previous vet care.
