Meet RUGER
Ruger is a one year old full-blooded German Shepherd male that weighs 85 pounds and born 7/24/21. This stunning boy is house trained and crate trained. He has had some professional training but will need an owner who knows how to reinforce training and will be consistent on raising him. His training was months ago and he has not been with an owner who took the time to be consistent and keep up the boundaries of the training method. He is fully vetted and microchipped and we are looking for a family with GSD experience and the knowledge of how to be his leader and loving owner all rolled up in one. He must have a securely fenced yard and we will be looking for a home that does not need to leave him for 8 hours Monday - Friday. He is great with other dogs but we do not have any knowledge on cats. We can find out if needed. He is an inside only dog and we are not accepting any inquiries from first time dog owners...sorry. We prefer no young toddlers in the home....children over the age of 8 please. He needs your undivided attention and raising young children and raising a young Shepherd is not ideal. Ruger is extremely sweet and loves lots of belly rubs, ear rubs, and all the attention that you can give to him. He has a unique ability to have a conversation with you, as he is a "talker". He loves all squeaky toys, balls and loves to play fetch. He has been around children and seems to do OK with them but we still stand by the age range of children living in the home; 8 and above. He is still very much a puppy himself being only a year old. During his birthing process he lost some of his pads and nails on his hind feet but this gives him no trouble at all, he was born this way. His veterinarian has said that should not affect him in anyway and it does not appear to at this time. If you are interested in this handsome, young full blooded German Shepherd please email us at [email protected] and mention where you live: city and state. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or [email protected]
