Meet Rugby

Rugby is a happy-go-lucky little guy with an infectious zest for life. Whether it’s playing with a dog, engaging with people or going for a long hike, Rugby is ready, willing and able. He will be greatly suited for a high energy household and an active lifestyle.   APPROXIMATE WEIGHT:  41 lbs. ESTIMATED DOB:  12/22/2020 GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS:  selective GOOD WITH KIDS:  no GOOD WITH CATS:  no REQUIRES A FENCE:   ACTIVITY LEVEL:  high energy LIKES TO VOCALIZE:   SPECIAL NEEDS:   BREED EXPERIENCE NEEDED:   APPROPRIATE PLACEMENT FOR 1ST TIME DOG OWNER?  no FREE OBEDIENCE TRAINING IS OFFERED WITH ALL DOG ADOPTIONS Please note that we are often asked if dogs are "house trained".  The dogs are in fact living in a kennel environment during their time with us.  Even if they have previously lived in a home and been trained - the stress of the change and the new home can sometimes cause regression and require some additional training.  We feel that it's best for all adopters to be prepared for this possibility.

Adoption Process
Fill out an adoption application, we will review it and call references, have the potential adopter meet with one of our animal care experts and the animal. If it is a good match for both the animal and the family then an adoption contract is filled out. Adoption prices vary depending on animal.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
