Animal Farm Foundation

Animal Farm Foundation (AFF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization built on the principle that all dogs are individuals. Our Foundation relies on science-based information about animal behavior and public policy, including breed-specific legislation and housing insurance discrimination, derived from our subsidiary National Canine Research Council. AFF’s team offers regional and national initiatives that support dogs and the people who care for them in their communities.

Meet Popsicle

As her name suggests, this sweet girl will instantly melt in your lap as she enjoys some cuddles on a warm summer day. Popsicle, aka "Poppy", is a fabulous walking partner if you love to be out and about. Everyone loves Ms. Poppy!

Adoption Process
We are located in Dutchess County, NY. The dogs in our care come from shelters and rescues across the country. The dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. While we don’t charge adoption fees, we welcome donations to further help us achieve our goal of bringing dogs and people together to end discrimination. We view all of our dogs and potential adopters as individuals. We make our matches on an adopter’s lifestyle and a dog’s needs and preferences. We spend quality time with the dogs every day and put them in unique situations so that we can learn as much as possible about them. They get regular exercise, basic obedience training, and daily interactions with people and other animals. They enjoy outings where they experience real-life situations in public and sleepovers with AFF guests.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
