Meet Joy - Just A Beauty!

Joy is a beautiful soul who is in need of a new home. Joy is with our partner rescue in Louisiana but can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters. Joy sat in a rural shelter in Southern Louisiana for months waiting to be picked. Instead, one day she ended up on the euthanasia list and our partner rescue decided to save her. There is a huge problem in the south with an overpopulation of animals. There dogs have done nothing wrong but they end up in dead end shelters or dumped on the side of the road. Joy has gained over 10 lbs with our partner rescue. She is doing well now and loving her foster home. Joy is dog and kid friendly (small kids unknown). Joy  is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. How to Adopt Me!
