Meet Izzy

Some dogs are just meant to be in the spotlight and garnish attention everywhere they go. Get the cameras rolling and start recording this entertaining litter of labrador retriever mixes. Walking the red carpet at a tender age of six months old can overwhelming but not for this crew. They live for the limelight and all the one-on-one attention it can provide. A loving family will be the cherry on top for our sweet girl Izzy. She currently weighs around 30 pounds and is expected to be a large size dog of over 60 pounds when she reaches adulthood. Pound for pound this girl is the epitome of love.Cruising the neighborhood, making rounds at a local dog park or hanging out with her family, this girl is ready to ride the waves of socialization. She makes strides of growing her group of friends that are only strangers for a minute. After a minute of introduction Amelia is considered a best friend with other dogs, adults and children. She is sure to have a growing list of fans lining up to get her paw print. Izzy has not had the opportunity to be introduced to a cat so it is unknown if she would be extending her friendship to the feline population. Even with a natural talent, there are skills to be learned in life. Izzy is ready to prove she is up to the challenge of mastering her skill set. She is working on her house, crate and leash training. She will work with her family until her skills are top notch. There is no turning back now because she is ready to take her place among the elite and earn her rewards. As with all puppies, Izzy is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. She will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize her so that she can become the perfect lifelong companion. If you are interested in sharing your life with a great and top of the line canine, Izzy is waiting for her casting call to take the role of your next family member. She is sure to blaze a trail into your heart and make a lifetime of loving memories. Make Izzy your next family member because she is ready for her next starring lifetime role. The adoption fee for Izzy is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours.
