Left to fend for herself as a stray, Ellie Mae captured the heart of caring person, and opened up the door for her to find a loving family by bringing her into rescue. Ellie Mae is certainly grateful and looks forward to loving pats, soft beds and cozy snuggles. She is 8 years old and is a hound mix weighing around 40 pounds. She might be smaller in size than others, but she packs a large heart into her smaller frame. Ellie Mae does not just like other dogs she loves them. She is happy and content hanging around with other dogs, children and cats. She has such a great disposition that everyone just wants to be her friend. Ellie Mae loves stuffed animals and chasing a ball around her yard. For her, age is just a number and as a result loves to run, romp, roll, and play in the grass. She is ready to find a home of her own in which she can enjoy her golden years.She has mastered her skills of house and crate training. She is eager to learn her leash training so she can set the best example possible of a well-trained little lady. Although Ellie Mae is house trained, it is important to remember that potty accidents can occur while adjusting to a new environment. Her friendly and sweet disposition makes her a little charmer. She is a keeper on so many levels and she will appreciate the little things in life. She will also be grateful for the time, commitment and especially the love that her family will bestow on her to making fond and lasting memories.The adoption fee for Ellie Mae is $300. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete a comprehensive application, interview and home inspection. The final step in the process is explaination and completion of adoption contract. The adoption fee is $450 inclusive of all vetting and transportation charges.
