Meet Jean

Jean is quite a gal. She is a 2 year old cattle dog mix who weighs 40 pounds. Jean has a medium to medium-high level of energy. She loves going for a good walk or run, but then settles for a nap afterward. Once Jean learns the rules of the house, she's an easy-going girl who's friendly and affectionate. She's also a smart and responsive dog who loves to learn. She would enjoy participating with her humans in activities such as agility or trick dog training. She likes the company of other dogs and children aged 12 and older. She has not been introduced to cats.Jean is fully house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Consistent structure and patience from her family will help her to maintain her skills. The ideal home for Jean is one that has the time, energy, and desire to provide her with regular mental and physical exercise, training, and lots of socialization. Jean is looking to be your plus-one on outdoor family outings. The adoption fee for Jean is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.

Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete a comprehensive application, interview and home inspection. The final step in the process is explaination and completion of adoption contract. The adoption fee is $450 inclusive of all vetting and transportation charges.
