Meet Taylor in OK - She's Sweet & Smart!

Oklahoma dogs are not available to adopters who live in an apartment. Travis and Taylor Swifty are ready to join their furever home! They have had three sets of vaccines, dewormed, spayed and neutered, and clean bill of health from the vet. During their stay in foster care, they have mastered crate training, leash training, 99% house trained, and super fast at learning indoor manners. They are mentored by a couple of adult Pyrs and a couple of cats that have shown them the ropes of being pampered indoor family members; now they just need to find their families.  Pictured is Taylor. She’s a sweetheart through and through. Taylor is very smart, loves toys and balls, and playing with her brother! She loves loves loves her people and is a master snuggler and her favorite spot is snuggled up with her head on your shoulder. We're looking for homes that are primarily indoors, secure fenced yard, and where the pup will be part of the family. Older kids are recommended as these big, clumsy pups can accidentally knock over and hurt a toddler. They are little furbears now, but soon they’ll be 100+ lbs, so families should be committed to continued obedience training to ensure these babies grow up to be well mannered citizens. Adoption fee includes the lifetime microchip registration fees. Out of state adopters welcome, however you'll need to be prepared to come to Tulsa on adoption day to meet your puppy and finalize the adoption in person. Please apply at www.nationalpyr.org. Transport: Not available to the West Coast - please see our list of Northwest dogs NYS Registered Rescue # RR102 Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. If you can't foster or adopt at this time, please consider helping our Neediest Cases or making a tax-exempt donation by visiting our Donate page. Please complete the adoption application and visit nationalpyr.org to learn more about Pyrs and our adoption process. National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) is not a shelter.
