Meet Malcolm

Meet Malcolm: (Kingston, MA)   This male mixed breed was born near the end of May and is the smallest of his litter. His background is enough of a mystery to make his adult weight hard to predict at this age.  We believe the mother was an Australian cattle dog, so you can expect a lot of herding breed tenacity.   This guy has a big attitude and a desire to be involved in everything that you do.  Malcolm is pretty mouthy in his attempts to get your attention, but also loves to settle in your lap after a fulfilling play session. And he loves to engage in training games and new experiences.    Both puppies still have a lot to learn, but would be a good partner for someone interested in professional training or various dog sports.  They have begun a foundation in crate training and puppy basics, but will still need a full education in their new homes.  (They will not be placed together/as a pair)   His energy level is high enough that he would be too much for a household with young children, but older may be fine.  And he would potentially do well with an adult dog in the house, so long as they’re tolerant of puppy antics.    They are microchipped, up to date on monthly preventatives, have received age-appropriate vaccinations, and are being adopted out on spay/neuter contracts to allow their puppy bodies and minds more time to develop. Each must meet their potential family to ensure a great match!   If you would like to learn more, email me directly at: [email protected] Then, fill out an application here: www.acdra.org/adoption-application
