Meet KNIGHT

Meet Knight – A Gentle Soul in a Shiny Black Coat Available for Adoption June 12 | Through Critter Cavalry Rescue   Now really… who doesn’t fall madly in love with a handsome Flat-Coated Retriever like this? If you know, you know. This gorgeous breed has a loyal fan club for a reason—and if you haven’t joined yet, sweet Knight might just be your golden (well, black) ticket.  Knight is a 2-year-old, 51-pound bundle of calm, gentle joy who found himself wandering alone in rural Tennessee. Luckily, he discovered a kind-hearted farm where he made fast friends with livestock, dogs, and likely even cats. He’s got the heart of a true country gentleman and the temperament of a tried-and-true family dog. Though he's dressed in a sleek black coat, Knight is every bit the retriever—loving, mellow, and eager to belong. With his soft eyes and relaxed body language, he’s telling us he’s ready… ready to be part of something real. He’s leaving the shelter behind and stepping into a brighter chapter, and he hopes it’s with you.   Knight would thrive in a home with a fenced yard to explore during the day and a cozy dog bed (preferably in the master bedroom!) to curl up in at night. He’s not the kind of dog who demands constant attention—but rather the kind who simply wants to be with you. Loyal, kind, and steady… Knight is the kind of dog that turns a house into a home.   If you’ve been searching for that special companion—the kind of dog who won’t let you down—Knight is ready to be your treasure.   Email [email protected] to learn more or to apply to adopt.  Knight is ready to bring peace, love, and lifelong friendship into your world.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or [email protected]

Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
