Buffalo CARES was started by 7 people who have worked together for years at various other rescues. We started this rescue because we wanted to make sure our rescue was run the right way. We saw a need for a rescue in the Buffalo, NY area that would help & rescue local dogs. The majority of our animals are local animals.

Meet the “A” Team…. Meet Atlas! Atlas is a brave little pup who’s overcome a lot. After surviving Parvovirus in the shelter, he’s now thriving in a loving foster home alongside his four siblings. Atlas is a strong and playful puppy, full of energy and ready to explore the world around him. He’s looking for a forever family to share his love, joy, and adventurous spirit. With his sweet nature and loving heart, Atlas is sure to bring plenty of happiness to any home!   If interested in adopting, please complete an application today @buffalocares.org  Adoption Fee: $475.00 RR48    

Adoption Process
All adoptions require, reference checks, vet reference checks, home visits, meet & greets. From there we will determine if that applicant is right for the dog they are interested in. At the adoption, a contract will be signed and an adoption fee will be paid. Fee's are based on the specific dog. Puppies, adults, bully breeds or special needs.
