Mission Statement: Our Mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, or abused dogs. By working with committed volunteers, already established veterinarians and trainers, we will nurture, provide medical care, and rehabilitation to these animals while providing a safe and loving "cage-free" environment for as long as it takes to find them adoptive homes. Our Vision: Our vision is to decrease the amount of dogs put to death every year, and prevent cruelty and suffering to all animals. Through humane education via our resources and educational classes, we aim to increase public awareness regarding the over population of adoptable animals in municipal shelters and beyond, and to that end we are firmly committed to:-Rescuing dogs from municipal shelters that are in danger of being euthanized-Educating the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering of companion animals and micro-chipping pets-Advocating for animals through political participation with our Community representatives

 IN NEED OF LOCAL FOSTER OR ADOPTER / AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT  Meet Orwell!  Orwell is 14 months old, male (approx. DOB 1-7-23), 47 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered and micro-chipped. Orwell is an adventurous and playful pup with a knack for exploring the world. He’s enthusiastic about treats and loves chasing toys, though he might decide a good sniffing session is even better! He loves kids, is good with other dogs but probably not cats (too much fun to chase!) This confident and goofy fella knows how to sit and thrives on fun toys and loving attention. With his quirky and affectionate personality, Orwell is ready to be your perfect companion on all your adventures. Preferences: Tennis balls, car rides plush squeaky toys, humans, wandering, and sniffing! More Fun Facts: "I'm an explorer at heart, will you take me on adventures?" Orwell is adventurous, affectionate, confident, curious, goofy, independent, playful, and quirky! Orwell has medium energy and appears to be housetrained! Adoption Process
Applicants fill out an application and, once thoroughly checked, referenced, and approved, are invited to meet the dogs they have interest in. All dogs are in foster homes. Once they have met their match, they sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
