Meet Liberty

4 Month Old, 17lb Libery is sweet, energetic, and always ready to cuddle. Liberty is a puppy full of personality and love. She’s curious about everything, excited to meet new friends (both human and canine), and happiest when she’s playing outside or curled up next to you with a chew toy. Liberty is still learning the ropes of puppy life, especially when it comes to potty training and crate time, but she’s smart and picking things up quickly. She loves her walks  morning, noon, and night, and is a great leash walker. She’s also a champion napper and has the kind of face that makes strangers smile on the street. She would do best in a home with someone who can give her time, structure, and lots of play. A work-from-home setup would be ideal as she builds confidence in being alone, and she might thrive even more with another dog around to show her the way. She isn't scared to play rought with other pups, especially those smaller than her, but once she is tired of bossing them aorund, she melts for the cutest little naps on your lap. Liberty is affectionate, eager to learn, and full of playful spirit — a perfect companion for someone looking to raise a joyful, lively pup. The shelter she came from said she may be a Corgi Mix, but we think she has some Border Collie in her too!

Adoption Process
Step One Complete and submit an adoption application and non-refundable $10 Application Fee. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, we set up meet and greets only once there is an approved application on file. 2 Step Two The adoptions team will review your completed application. We will contact your references, landlord and/or veterinarian (if any). 3 Step Three Approved applicants will be will be contacted for a phone interview/virtual home visit. 4 Step Four Meet and greet with your potential new dog! All members of the household (and resident dogs) must be able to travel to NYC for the interaction. We currently approve adoptions in the states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. We approve adoptions in other nearby states on a case by case basis. 5 Step Five Sign your adoption agreement and take your new family member home!
