Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue

We are a non profit animal rescue organization that is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. Our mission is to protect the welfare of animals, one life at a time, from unnecessary euthanasia. From high kill shelters to foster homes to caring adoptive families, Diamonds in the Ruff handles every aspect of the rescue process. Our animals are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and receive necessary medical treatment. Foster homes are used to provide sanctuary and ensure a successful placement. Our goal is to make the adoption process a kind, informative and rewarding experience because we believe that every animal can become a treasured family pet.

Meet Cheeto

Meet Cheeto. This young, tenderhearted boy hasn’t had much guidance yet, but what he lacks in experience he more than makes up for with love. Cheeto is a true “Velcro dog” – happiest when he’s pressed up against you, following your every move, and soaking up every ounce of kindness he can find. Friendly to every human he meets, Cheeto greets people with an open heart and a wagging tail. We’re still learning how he feels about other animals, so for now we’re looking for a foster or forever family who can help him safely explore those introductions. Cheeto hasn’t been shown much of the world yet, but he’s eager to learn and ready to blossom in the right hands. He’s searching for someone who can offer patience, gentle guidance, and a safe place to land while he discovers that life is good and people can be trusted. With a little time and love, Cheeto promises to grow into a loyal, devoted companion who will stay by your side through every adventure. If you’ve ever wanted to change a dog’s life forever, Cheeto is waiting for you to be his hero.
