Nyla is a stunning 4-year-old German Shepherd mix who’s ready to start the next chapter of her life with someone who sees her for the gentle, loyal soul she is. She came to us underweight, but don’t worry—Nyla loves food and is fully embracing her “bulking phase”! With each meal and each day, she’s growing stronger and more vibrant.Nyla is a sweet and courageous girl who’s been a little anxious in the shelter environment, but she continues to impress us with her resilience. Once she’s in a home where she feels safe and loved, we know she’ll blossom into the confident companion she’s meant to be.She can also be a bit boisterous—she's got energy to burn and sometimes shows her excitement with a big jump! Because of that, she’d do best with someone experienced with shepherds, hounds, or other strong, active breeds. She needs a person who’s not only loving and patient, but also able to provide structure, training, and positive guidance.Nyla would thrive with someone who can offer her structure, gentle training, and lots of affection. She’s a fast learner and wants nothing more than to feel safe and loved.
