Meet Blanche

Blanche was born around April 22, 2020 and weighs about 60 pounds.  Blanche was found in a nearby town and when no one came looking for her the dog control officer reached out to us and we were happy to help.   Blanche is simply stunning with a silvery undertone to her coat.  Blanche rode well in the car on the ride to JR.  Blanche does well on leash and is a very smart girl and when walked on a public trail she calmed and did very well noticing, but nothing more as humans and other dogs went by.  Blanche has done wonderfully with the other dogs here and is having a blast running and playing and we feel she would also be fine as an only dog.  Blanche is a typical GSD and bonds very strongly with her humans and we feel she would be fine with older children, but we don't have any test kids here. We like to give our dogs fruits and veggies as snacks and she LOVES to munch on raw broccoli!  She does very well with cats.  We will be looking for a home with GSD experience for this beautiful girl.  This is all we know so far and we will be learning as we go!  It seems someone loved this sweet girl at some point!  We've learned that Blanche knows "sit" and "lay down" and is eager to learn, nicely treat motivated, and makes such good eye contact to communicate with you.  This stunning girl longs to be nearby her humans. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $600.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
