Meet Penny

Penny was born around May 1, 2023 and weighs about 8 pounds.  Penny is from a backyard breeding situation and we are so glad she is out of there! Penny rides well in the car and adores other dogs. We will be looking for a home with another fun, confident dog as Penny relies heavily on canine companionship.  Penny is shy at first but never aggressive.  Her coat is the most gorgeous shades of gray and cocoa brown.  She will need to be groomed as we feel is low shedding so you'll need to be prepared for that cost every 6'sih weeks.  We feel she is doing well on house training and readily uses the dog door but with another chance you will likely have some work to do in this area.  No small kids in her next home its just too much noise and commotion.  Penny is going to be a wonderful family member with time and understanding.  The Adoption Fee for this dog is $600.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
