Peanut Butter's story is unimaginably sad, having been left tied up on a busy parkway, hungry, skinny, and alone. A good samaritan brought him to the NYCACC, which is how we learned about him. Luckily one of our foster homes was ready to welcome him. And he is now getting the care and love that he needs. He is still mending but will soon be ready to be adopted. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.
