Meet Cyrus

Location: New City, NY Here’s Cyrus! Hi! My name is Cyrus.  I’m a young Australian Cattle Dog boy. I am super friendly to people and other dogs, sweet, energetic and am total cuddly, affectionate love bug. I adore playing with my foster parents and sister (Ruby, the red cattle dog and oh boy, do I ever love her!) but it’s about time I found a forever pack of my own. I’m approximately 6 months old, according to my vet (she had to guess because I forgot to count on my paws!), neutered, fully vetted, up-to-date on all my vaccinations and ready to go. I’m smart, too, because I have already started leash walking, learning basic commands and do very well in sleeping in my crate and playing in my fenced yard. I am getting started on my potty training and I will fit in best with an active pack who can help me get lots of exercise to run off some of my happy energy. I promise that in return, I will love my pack to pieces. My foster mom says I am a striking little fella (26-28 pounds) but I am a lot of cattle dog in a slightly smaller package. Right now I’m living in New City, Rockland County, New York. I was skeered when they showed me a cat at the shelter so my foster mom thinks I’ll do best in a pack with no cats! I like to think I am pretty darned cute with stunning markings but most of all, it’s my big heart I am looking to share. Are you my heart pack? If so, my foster mom, Pamela,  says you should reach out to her at [email protected] ‘cuz she can tell you even more about me. I can’t wait to meet you! You can put in an application for me at: https://www.acdra.org/adoption-application
