Meet Minnie Leap *LOCAL*

To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application  HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see  HERE Age:  ~ 9 months (as of 04/15/24) Weight: 16.8 lbs (as of 04/11/24) Location: CT   This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.   Minnie can’t wait to meet you! Minnie was found as a stray in Arkansas with a suspected relative of hers. He has since been adopted and she is ready for her home.  They are both sweet and even-tempered young doggies. We are thinking they are a Spaniel mix. Minnie is friendly with adults but don’t yet know how she is with men and kids - she is a sweet and gentle girl and think she will do fine with slow introductions.  Minnie is crate trained and working on house training and walking on the leash and still needs more practice but think she will pick up these important skills quickly as she seems very smart. She is a playful girl with lots of energy, but will chill with appropriate exercise.   We recommend that you and Minnie sign up for some training classes together, ideally in the first 60 days or so of bringing her home. Group training classes are a great way to reinforce important skills, learn some new tricks, and get some quality socialization time with other furry friends. Minnie is a friendly girl who just wants a loving forever home. Can you make her dream come true? Fill out an application today and let her know that you'd love to have her join your family! Minnie and Mickey can be adopted together or separately. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see  HERE  for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: www.sosarl.org/aa/ **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
