To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: ~ 1 year (as of 01/12/24) Weight: 23.4 lbs (as of 03/21/24) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Mickey can’t wait to meet you! Mickey and Minnie (also available on SOS) were found together as strays. Mickey appears to be 6-7 months older than Minnie and suspect he is either her dad or an older brother. They are both sweet and even-tempered young doggies. We are thinking they are a Spaniel mix. Mickey loves everyone he meets; adults, kids, other dogs, and cats! He is one happy and friendly dude. He is house trained, crate trained, and walks pretty good on the leash but could always use more practice and would love to join you on a walk or hike. He is a playful guy but also loves to chill with a toy or you! We recommend that you and Mickey sign up for some training classes together, ideally in the first 60 days or so of bringing him home. Group training classes are a great way to reinforce important skills, learn some new tricks, and get some quality socialization time with other furry friends. Mickey is a friendly boy who just wants a loving forever home. Can you make his dream come true? Fill out an application today and let him know that you'd love to have him join your family! Mickey and Minne can be adopted together or separately. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: www.sosarl.org/aa/ **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
