Buffalo CARES was started by 7 people who have worked together for years at various other rescues. We started this rescue because we wanted to make sure our rescue was run the right way. We saw a need for a rescue in the Buffalo, NY area that would help & rescue local dogs. The majority of our animals are local animals.

Meet Flash

Hi, my name is Flash and I am a 5 month old Terrier mix.  My foster mom says that I am a very sweet and smart beautiful boy! I don’t know anything about that I just know that I love to be around humans. I get along great with my canine foster sister too! We love to run and play in the yard and when I am tired I find my foster mom’s lap to snuggle up on. I love to play with my toys but my favorite is the ball!  I really love when my foster mom’s grandson comes to play!  My foster mom says I am very smart and am doing so good going potty outside. I like to go for walks too and am doing well on the leash. I don’t mind my crate at all and I know to go into it to get a treat! I am told that I am 25 pounds of pure sweetness! I am so snuggly and cuddly and I love to run and play with my foster sister! If you are looking for the bestest boy to snuggle with and make you laugh then I am your boy! Adoption Process
All adoptions require, reference checks, vet reference checks, home visits, meet & greets. From there we will determine if that applicant is right for the dog they are interested in. At the adoption, a contract will be signed and an adoption fee will be paid. Fee's are based on the specific dog. Puppies, adults, bully breeds or special needs.
