Meet Hazel

Looking to rescue a dog who has a rough past but is as sweet as can be? Hazel might just be your girl! She is around three to four years old and was found on a back road in the late stages of pregnancy. She had her puppies at the shelter on January 15th and a DNA test on a puppy came back as 100% Catahoula Leopard Dog. Her puppies have all gone on to their homes and now it's moms turn! Hazel is very shy with new people but becomes quite affectionate once she is comfortable. She would benefit from living with another dog to help build her confidence. She could also possibly live with a cat or children over ten that will allow her to settle into her new home at her own pace.
