Meet Frankie3 (bonded with Oscar17)

Frankie and Oscar are a bonded pair of short haired dachshunds. Frankie is around 5 years old and 12lbs. Oscar is 10 years old and 18lbs. These two sweeties are looking for a new home where they can be together after being surrendered by an owner who couldn’t give them the attention and time they need. Both boys are very sweet and affectionate, Frankie being a little more reserved! They love to snuggle with each other and go on walks. Environment Frankie are Oscar are house and crate trained, but will need to be let out on a pretty regular schedule. Frankie is very quiet and prefers to burrow under blankets on the couch. He is timid of certain noises (e.g. plastic bags, unfamiliar sounds). He is a bit slower to warm up but has a totally sweet soul. Oscar is the extrovert and extremely affectionate. He also loves a good snuggle, but will likely be on your body snuggling. Once both boys hear "Wanna go outside?" they jump up and are ready to go! They’ll be fine in a home with shared walls, and they don’t need a fenced yard, but definitely enjoy hunting in the yard. They also love going on walkies!! They both are great leash walkers, but they are reactive to other dogs on walks. They want to greet other dogs and have not shown any aggression. They have an extremely high prey drive and should never be let off leash. If they do have a yard, the fence will need to be dig-proof because Oscar is a true escape artist. Pets & People Both Frankie and Oscar are said to be fine with other dogs they have met. So far, they’ve been fine with all people, and used to live with a toddler. They are great eaters and sleepers and snugglers who would likely fit well into any household. Location Frankie and Oscar are available for adoption from Saugus, MA. Please email [email protected] with any questions or complete an adoption application at the button above. The adoption fee for them both is $625.
