Meet Marcus

Meet Marcus, a playful and loving pup with a heart as big as his energy. Marcus, a 1-year-old labrador retriever mix, has a handsome black and white coat, with an adorable tuxedo and front paw socks! At 40 lbs., he is considered a medium-sized pup (25 - 50 lbs.).Marcus was rescued by our partner shelter in Texas. Despite a tough start—he and his sister were abandoned on a country road to fend for themselves—Marcus has a bright spirit. He is full of affection, always ready for a game or a cuddle, and his resilience is truly inspiring. As a medium energy, he would enjoy plenty of playtime alongside some good couch cuddles. Marcus gets along great with other dogs and with human kiddos, but we do not know how he feels about cats. Marcus is working hard on his house, crate, and leash training, which are all in progress. Consistency and patience will go a long way towards helping Marcus learn and become the best pup he can be! Marcus would love to join a family who will commit the time required to provide him with proper training and plenty of socialization. He will appreciate your care and love as he adjusts to life with his new family!Marcus is looking for a forever home where he can finally experience the love and security he deserves. Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete a comprehensive application, interview and home inspection. The final step in the process is explaination and completion of adoption contract. The adoption fee is $450 inclusive of all vetting and transportation charges.
