Meet Maui
Looking to run with a big dog? Then Maui just might be an ideal match for you. He is a 4.5-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a medium length tan and white coat. Did we mention big? Fully grown, he weighs 83 pounds and would benefit by putting on some additional weight. Remember, we said big. Maui is an easy going, medium energy guy who loves to lounge in a kiddie pool. Given his name, it would be no surprise if his preferred beverage is a tall Pina Colada, but we strongly recommend water instead. He is comfortable around children and other dogs. His house, crate and lead training are underway, and his behavior around cats is unknown. Maui deserves to be in a forever home where he can thrive and be the outstanding pooch he is meant to be. All he needs is an affectionate home where he receives continuous training, socialization and exercise. And no Pina Coladas! Maui is waiting to meet you in a big, big way, so submit your application today. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Maui is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
