Meet Bunny
When she came to us as a stray, Bunny was just skin and bones—only 16 lbs and barely hanging on. Along with her buddy, she was battling parasites and extreme malnourishment. But after lots of love, vet care, and many small meals, Bunny has truly transformed. Now around 7 months old, she’s full of life, love, and an enthusiastic appetite (understandably so!). Like many dogs who’ve faced starvation, Bunny is still a little food-obsessed and learning how to use her slow feeder—one paw at a time. This sweet girl is great with other dogs and kids—she even visited a classroom recently and was a total superstar (more on that soon!). She hasn’t met any cats yet. Bunny is doing amazing and is just about ready to begin the next chapter: finding her forever family. She’s still learning the ropes of “Puppy 101,” but with continued guidance, she’ll blossom into an incredible companion. She’ll be spayed and fully vetted prior to adoption! All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.
