Meet PUPPY BOWIE

Meet Bowie – Your Gentle, Laidback Gentleman! Hello there, my name is Bowie, and I just might be the most proper little gentleman you’ll ever meet! My story began on a quiet countryside porch when my brave momma, Winnie (a beautiful Great Pyrenees), gave birth to me and my seven sibling around July 1st. The homeowners were in for quite a surprise when they came home to find a whole pile of newborn pups waiting on them! Thankfully, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in to make sure we were safe, and now I’m growing up in a wonderful foster home. I currently live with my sister and three other dogs, and we have the best time playing together in the fenced backyard. A secure fence is a must for me—I may be laidback, but like most Great Pyrs, I do have a natural instinct to roam. Apartment or condo life isn’t really my style; I need a yard where I can stretch out, nap in the sunshine, and enjoy my puppy zoomies. My personality? Easygoing and sweet! I’m playful, of course, but I’m also so mellow that sometimes you’ll hardly notice I’m there. I love my naps just as much as I love a good romp outside. At night, I sleep soundly in my crate without a peep or an accident, and I’m making great progress with potty training.  I would be happiest in a home with another friendly dog, since I really enjoy having a buddy around. With my gentle nature, I get along with everyone and will grow into a loyal, loving companion. I’ll be ready to go to my forever home the weekend of September 27th—could it be yours?  To learn more or apply for adoption, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected].   Critter Cavalry Rescue is requiring a house with a secured and fenced backyard so that I can hang out for hours like my Great Pyr breed likes to do.  We are made to be outside a lot and that is why I am being sent to the northeastern states and out of the hot and humid Nashville, TN area where we have been born. I need the COLDER climate. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
