Meet Hope Vega

HOPE Vega was born about March 7, 2025 and might top out in the 55-60 pound range. She appears to be a lab mix, but it’s possible there are many other breeds in her heritage. She is from the Baja Vega region of Puerto Rico, and was rescued from the streets there.  She was safe with a foster until a neighbor with bad intentions came and got them and burnt some of them with cigarettes, and the foster Mom managed to get them back and start to care for their injuries.  There were 9 pups altogether and so far we have 2 of them.  They have held NO grudges !  They love people and try to make friends with other dogs too !  They will cuddle right up in your lap if you will let them. They will be a great fit to most any home.  The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00_. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
