Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue

We are a non profit animal rescue organization that is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. Our mission is to protect the welfare of animals, one life at a time, from unnecessary euthanasia. From high kill shelters to foster homes to caring adoptive families, Diamonds in the Ruff handles every aspect of the rescue process. Our animals are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and receive necessary medical treatment. Foster homes are used to provide sanctuary and ensure a successful placement. Our goal is to make the adoption process a kind, informative and rewarding experience because we believe that every animal can become a treasured family pet.

Meet Knucklehead – the 65lb lap dog you never knew you needed!   This sweet, 10-year-young gentleman is the full package: gentle, friendly, low-maintenance , and totally convinced he’s pocket-sized . He LOVES to snuggle and will happily curl up in your lap like a baby – all 65lbs of him!   Knucklehead gets along great with dogs, cats, and humans of all ages . He’s perfectly content to chill, but still has a playful side when the mood strikes.   If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a heart as big as his paws – Knucklehead’s your guy.
