SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue

Our mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless." We save the toughest dogs to place; those with serious medical conditions, paralyzed dogs, deaf and blind dogs, severely emaciated dogs, dogs with neurological deficits & disease, dogs with injuries and orthopedic issues … the animals that nobody else wants; the dogs that would otherwise be euthanized.

Meet Colt the Courageous

*Name: Colt*Age: 1 year old *Current Weight: 43 lbs*Rescued from: Tennessee, fostered in New York!*Adoption fee: $475Meet Colt!Colt is a very special young black lab with the soul of a fighter and the heart of a teddy bear.Rescued in Tennessee after being found with an open gunshot wound to his face, Colt has endured more than most dogs ever should. But Colt doesn't let his past define him or hold him back—Colt is all about living in the moment and is an incredible happy and sweet boy. Colt enjoys snuggling with his foster family, getting belly rubs, making new friends, and tends to take naps in the silliest positions (usually laying on his back, with his legs in the air and not having a care in the world).Despite his traumatic start, Colt’s gentle, affectionate spirit shines through in everything he does. He adores people of all ages, gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, and greets everyone he meets like an old friend. Whether he’s playing outside or snuggling up for a cuddle, Colt brings joy, resilience, and a whole lot of love to every room he enters.Colt is looking for a forever home where he can continue to thrive, feel loved, and be spoiled the way he deserves. If you're ready to open your heart to a dog who embodies strength, sweetness, and second chances, Colt is your boy.To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs
