Meet Cookie

Are you ready for the cutest little Cookie Monster there ever was?! Cookie is the sweetest 4 year old, 40ish pound, bulldog who is dog friendly, cat & house bunny friendly, vaccinated, playful, happy, a comedy show (like most bulldogs!), and as sweet as can be… She was bred repeatedly and dumped in the City of Rochester, and thankfully found her way to the shelter and then to us! She LOVES everyone she meets and will roll herself over on her back for belly rubs upon instant meeting She is made of love and sweetness and can’t wait to show her furever family just how forgiving pups are.   Cookie is looking for a home with a family that can commit to getting her outside to potty religiously to continue making progress with potty training. She would love someone who works from home or a retired individual/couple to spoil her the way she deserves after a start to life filled with neglect.  Are you ready for the love of your life?!   Cookie went in for surgery to get spayed and have her cherry eyes repaired, twice… but she almost died on the table both times.  So it is not possible to safely spay her.   Her adoptive family will have to understand the special concerns we have for her as an unspayed female.   Cookie loves her toys, especially her stuffies, and she ALWAYS wants to be with her people.  Cookie is great with kids, dogs, cats, and even bunnies.  Cookie is great with everybody... so long as there's belly rubs involved!
