Meet Bruce- courtesy post

In an effort to assist animals outside the GRASP system, we have posted the following as a courtesy. GRASP does not screen these animals and relies upon the information provided by the pet parent. GRASP has no knowledge of the pet's history (i.e. health, behavior, temperament, etc.). All responsibility falls with the pet parent with whom the animal resides. If you are interested in this pet, please refer to the contact information below. Do not contact GRASP. Thank you. Listed: 2/19/24 DOB: 2/1/13 We’ve had him for 5 years but sadly, the other large male in our house has been causing problems with him and it has gotten to the point where it is too unpredictable to have them in the same home. We want Bruce to spend his last years at his happiest, not in a constant cycle of crate and rotate. We are currently looking for the ideal home for him, preferably a home without large breed dogs but he does great with small dogs, cats and children. Bruce just turned 11 years old but does not look or act it. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and just had full senior labwork done, he is in perfect health. He is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, walks great on a leash, does great in cars, loves going to the vet and rarely ever barks. He is a very low maintenance dog, not on any medications. Like a classic pittie he can only have kong or nylabone toys, and will run to them if he gets overstimulated. He loves short walks and likes to play fetch (on land or in water). He will be the happiest boy to see you when you get home and can be such a cuddle bug! We are willing to supply the new owner with his crate, bedding and toys. He is free to a good home once that home has been verified to be a good fit. This would include a home visit and meet and greet with any resident pets. Please share his handsome face and anyone who is interested please don’t hesitate to reach out. Bruce deserves the best for his last few years and we need to find it for him.   Please contact Alexa at 914-262-6017 if you would like to adopt or have any questions.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
