Location: NY Argh matey, it's me Pirate! No need to worry though, I'm the friendliest Pirate you'll ever meet, and I'm on the search for the greatest treasure of all, a brand new forever family!!!! Unfortunately my first family could no longer care for me, so they dropped me off at this really loud place, boy I didn't like that, but these nice people came and got me right out of there! Since then, I've promised to be the best boy and always try to be on my best behavior! I'm currently living in a foster house with other dogs and cats! I love everyone and I'm really good at making friends, even with the cat! I get along great with everyone and I'm respectful of the older dogs and play with the younger dogs. Sometimes the cat tries to play with me, I get a little confused, but I go along with his antics! Foster mom says I am a 100% certified good boy, I know my manners, I'm respectful when I meet new people, I'm good in my crate and I know to potty only outside! See 100% good boy!  I have what foster mom calls a good "off switch", I guess that's cause I like to cuddle on the couch and watch movies. But, I also love to run, sniff and go on all the adventures!!!  If you're looking for an easy going guy, who loves adventure, pick me! The friendliest Pirate around! Now a word from my foster mom- Pirate is 2 years old, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and is heartworm negative. Pirate currently tips the scales at about 47 pounds, he's working on his summer bod now! Pirate is currently being fostered in Canandaigua NY  Questions? Adoption Process
ADOPTION FEES All puppies and adult dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. All adult dogs are spayed / neutered. Puppies under 1 year: $350 Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are adopted with a Spay/Neuter Contract which includes a $50 deposit which is refunded when you submit proof of spay/neuter. Age 1 - 6: $300 Age 7 - 9: $250 Age 10+: $100 Age 7+ adopted by a person 60+: FREE (Any donation is appreciated) Need our help transporting over 3 hours from foster home to adopter: $50 - $150 depending on distance (in addition to adoption fee). NOTE! All dogs are adopted with a 2-week trial period. If you decide the dog is not a fit for your household and the dog is returned to the rescue within 2 weeks of adoption, the adoption fee will be refunded.
