Meet Holly Albania

Meet Holly, a sweet and gentle soul who’s finally getting her chance at the life she deserves. Holly is just 4 years old and weighs around 25 lbs—but her story runs much deeper than her age or size. She and her sister spent the first 9 months of their lives surviving on the streets of Albania before being rescued and brought to a shelter. There, they waited for three long years—with no family, no soft beds, no one coming for them. In Albania, resources and adopters are scarce, and amazing dogs like Holly often get overlooked. We knew they needed a hero, so we stepped in to give them a shot here in the U.S. Despite everything she’s been through, Holly is incredibly loving and kind. She adores people and gets along beautifully with other dogs. She can be adopted on her own or with her sister (they do love each other!), but if separated, Holly will need a dog friend in the home to help her feel secure and confident as she adjusts. Holly is healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She’s been waiting a long time. Apply to adopt Holly at EHRDOGS.ORG
