Meet Omar Otto

Omar was born around April 21, 2024, and weighs about 5. He and 21 other dogs were seized from a woman who was on the Animal Abuse Registry for Cattaraugus County. Omar is teeny tiny and just about as cute as they come. He has bilateral luxating patellas but gets around fine. He may require pain meds in the future. Please speak with your vet if you have any questions about luxating patellas before applying to adopt. Omar is shy but quickly becomes your best friend.  Omar loves other dogs.  We are suggesting older/respectful children if there are children in his next home, just because of his initial shyness and teeny tiny size.  You will have potty training to do and we often suggest potty pads for these teeny tiny dogs with teeny tiny bladders. This is all we know so far and we will be learning as we go and so will you!  The Adoption Fee for this dog is $_500.00_. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
