Elsa was born about June 20, 2015 and weighs about 50 lbs. She is good on leash and used to being walked in the city of Buffalo. She is with us as her humans are moving to the Carribean and they were not able to take the dogs. Elsa was a loved member of the family and it was a tearful goodbye. As I write this she has only been here a few hours and is quite content although a bit on the unsure side and who can blame her as she now has a new house, new humans, and 20 some new doggie friends, of all sizes, which she is doing extremely well with. Elsa is nicely house trained and was in a routine to go out every couple of hours, but if they couldn't she would hold it. She is good in the car and did very well on her almost two-hour car ride here. Oh, one important thing we need to mention is that she is deaf, or mostly deaf, they feel she may hear some louder noises or maybe she is just sensitive to vibration of louder noises. We feel strongly she should live with another normal hearing dog as she will follow their cues. Elsa is not at all hyper and is even said to be a bit on the lazy side - this girl loves her naps! She is mostly friendly with new humans approaching her, but on intake a strange man approached her quickly and she did bounce and bark. She's now in the house with him and not paying any attention at all and other than the one bark she hasn't made a peep.. She may startle quicker than a dog that can hear with approaching humans - perhaps mostly men. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $_400.00___. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability.
