Meet Sullivan

Hi, My name is Sullivan but my friends call me Sully!! I am an absolute love bug or so I'm told! A gentleman never reveals his age but lets just say, I'm approximately 8 yrs old. I am what is called a Chiweenie, which is the nickname for a Chihuahua -Dachshund cross. My favorite things to do are snuggling with people on the couch, sleeping with people in bed, and following people everywhere. I have to be where the action is, so wherever you go, I follow. I walk great on a leash and am fully housebroken. I know “sit”, and comes when my name is called. I will answer to Sully or Sullivan. My foster family is so impressed with my manners that I am only crated if nobody is home, though I would really be ok out of a crate. There's a 2 yr old child in my foster’s home that I love!!!! I love when she gets to pet me and give me light hugs. I have also met children of all ages at rescue events and happily allowed all to pet me, tail wagging the whole time. My foster home also has 2 small dogs, a boy & a girl, and I'm great with them both. I will snuggle with them on a dog bed for a nap, and when outside we will run and play with together. I have met many other dogs when at adoption events, different ages and sizes. I have done fine with most of the dogs that I have met but I am afraid of large dogs so if a potential new home has gentle natured large dogs I will need time to get to trust that they won't hurt me. I have never met a cat but don't expect I would have any problems Please don't let my age keep you from considering me because I should still have many years of love and loyalty to give, plus I wont chew your remote like puppies! Adoption Process
All adoptions require, reference checks, vet reference checks, home visits, meet & greets. From there we will determine if that applicant is right for the dog they are interested in. At the adoption, a contract will be signed and an adoption fee will be paid. Fee's are based on the specific dog. Puppies, adults, bully breeds or special needs.
