City of Las Vegas Animal Care Center

We are a municipal animal shelter for the City of Las Vegas. We contract with our county to provide animal services. We are a small shelter and are constantly full and trying to rehome as many friendly, happy, adoptable dogs as we can. We have not had to euthanize for space but our numbers are making it difficult to keep on. Our staff are dedicated and caring.

Meet Bubbles

Meet Bubbles! She's a sweet golden retriever mix, about a year old and weighing 28.6 lbs. Bubbles can be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her bubbly personality shines through—she’s a total wiggle butt! Super smart and eager to please, she loves meeting new people and playing around. She’s still learning how to walk on a leash, so she’d do great with a patient and loving family who can help her grow and have fun every day. Bubbles is ready to bring joy and tail wags to her forever home!

Adoption Process
Short Application, interview, meet and greets, and mandatory spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchipping
