We are a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue that houses companion animals on our grounds and in foster homes until we find them their forever homes. I have a masters in business administration and took over running the organization after our past Director passed away. I was a volunteer worker and animal care provider here for 2 years prior to joining the board and taking over running the organization.

Meet Venus

Hello, I'm Venus! I am a petite girl of around 40 pounds. I am two years old and know my manners very well. I would not dream of making a mess in my living spaces. I am neat and tidy and house trained. All you have to do is show me the door and all my business will be done in the approved-of places outside. I'm not just a neat-freak though, I'm also happy and playful! I love to romp with my people. Mostly I love being close and snuggling and loving on each other. You may think I'm a little too big to be a lap dog, but I don't. I think I'm the perfect lap dog size! I'm also the perfect hiking dog size, sofa snuggling size, and a great girl-about-town size! Basically, I'm just the right size for a family who wants to have a well behaved dog with a heart of gold. Am I the right size for you? Hope so! Love, Venus

Adoption Process
We have a $75 adoption fee. We have an application for adoption, an adoption waiver, and a sterilization contract for any animal adopted prior to sterilization age. We do home visits and provide post adoption counseling to ensure successful adoptions.
