we are filling the 'missing link' for abandoned animals in our area. We are a small rural community surrounded by poverty-stricken towns, campgrounds, and reservations where many animals are not neutered/spayed, dumped, abandoned, and neglected. We rehab them, spay/neuter them, get veterinary care for them, socialize, and find forever homes for these great affectionate rescue pets.

Meet BERRY

BERRY is friendly and active. He's only 6 weeks old. His adoption fee includes his neutering, vaccines, deworming, and microchip. He was born 3 April 2025. Adoption process: online application, pics or video, phone conversation to answer all questions, we bring the pet to YOU and do the pet introductions with all family members including family pets. Desert Paws Inc Animal Rescue of New Mexico has been matching forever families with animals from the four pueblo Indian reservations we work with since 2008. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, educate, rehab the injured, and find homes for the unwanted. One paw at a time :-) Thank you for considering a rez rescue dog! The dogs there need your help.
