Available Tiny Male Chihuahua Approximate DOB 5/1/2024 – About 9 lbs Wolverine was part of a large hoarding case. He was among about 30 Chihuahuas- some inside and some outside. He was an outdoor only dog so is still learning the ropes of being a house dog. He is still pretty skittish so will need a very loving, understanding family to love. However, he has finally started to learn how to trust and now runs up to me for attention!! He is absolutely the most loving little boy and he has the sweetest eyes. He would love to have his own person.  He is still working on house training. He seems to have gotten the hang of using the dog door and there have been no accidents in about a week thank goodness.. He has just been with his 3 brothers since he got here and he loves running around playing chase with them. Just keep in mind marking is worse if there are more than 2 adult males in the home so if you have a male already I wouldn't recommend another male.  He will make someone a perfect little friend. His ideal person or people will help him overcome his past through giving him new experiences, lots of love, attention, and treats. We are sure once he understands how wonderful change is he will continue blossoming by leaps and bounds.   Neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations - Fee $150 We do welcome out-of-state adoptions. If you have other dogs it is recommended you bring them out to the meeting but not required.  Steps for adoption: Read bio, email to request application or download it from the main website, fill it out completely and email it back, once approved you will receive an email asking you when you would like to come out to meet the pet, schedule an appointment, directions will be emailed or text to you. Adoption fees are cash only.   If you would like to provide snacks, toys, food, and care for the dogs while they wait for their happily ever afters we would truly appreciate it.
