Jade is a beautiful 2yr old, 30lb, pocket Pittie that was saved from a local shelter. Jade will need a quiet, patient adopter(s) to help her settle in realize life isn’t so scary. She is shy at first but quickly warms up to people and loves to snuggle and receive affection. She is scared on walks so staying close to home in a yard is initially is best. Jade will need help to build her confidence out in the big, wide world. Jade is housebroken and while she does not like a crate she is fine being left alone in a spare room with some furniture for her comfort. Jade was initially found with another female dog but that dog was adopted through the shelter prior to us saving Jade nor did she have any issues with other dogs while in the shelter setting. She is having issues getting acquainted with the noisy hound dogs in her current foster home so likely a home without another dog or a calmer, quieter dog would be ok. Since she is shy and nervous initially a home with older children would best suit her. Jade is a beautiful and sweet girl that truly deserves to find her people or person who can show her all the good things life has to offer. Jade is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines and preventatives with an adoption fee of $325. If you can give Jade the future she longs for please fill out our adoption or foster application at: https://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-adoption-applicationhttps://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-foster-application Thank you!!
Adoption Process
Potential adopters start by filling out our adoption application. The completed application is read over and if we have any questions we will contact them accordingly. Next at least two personal and if applicable a vet reference is contacted. Assuming that goes well it is followed by a physical home check. Once that is all completed we setup a meet to adopt where the entire family (including canine members if adopting a dog) come to meet the potential new family member. If the meeting goes well they are fully approved to take their pet home at that time.
