Meet SANTANA
When you see our handsome Chocolate Lab mix boy named Santana, you just want to rub his chin and tell him “You won’t be homeless long sweet boy”. This smaller version of a Chocolate Lab is only 33 pounds and just barely a year of age. This short Lab boy is just a smaller version of a real Chocolate Lab but on shorter legs. He is so good in every way. He lost his home because the family just didn’t have time for him after getting him as a puppy. He was raised with young children and so we know that he has a heart to play with them as well as being good with other dogs. He is playful and really a happy dog with a calm temperament and would love to have someone really work with him on manners and learning what is expected of him in the house. He is learning leash walking and needs some consistent work that will teach him to not pull. He is scared of the cat and he is housebroken from what we can tell. This precious boy might reach a final weight of 35-40 pounds as a mature adult. Santana could be a part of just about any home that is active and will take him for hikes, jogs, walks and even dog parks would be fine. He is versatile and fits in easily. A perfect family companion, a single person’s best buddy, an empty nest couple that is truly active, or a young newly married couple planning to have children down the road and to which Santana is already accustomed to. If you would like to adopt Mr. Perfect Santana please email us at [email protected] He is ready to go!!!!
