Meet Gertie

Gertie is a beautiful dachshund currently in foster in New Jersey. Gertie   and several other dachshunds and dachshund mixes came to us from a hoarding situation in NYC.  Gertie can be a little timid at first, but it doesn't take long for her to be your friend. She's very sweet and likes to be near you. Gertie loves attention and enjoys napping on her person's lap. She's currently in a foster home with 3 children (ages 5, 6 & 8) and is respectful of them. She's also doing well with the cat in her foster home. She   will need training on housebreaking and walking on a leash. She is dog friendly. Gertie is   microchipped and up to date on vaccines. We will arrange for her to be fixed asap. Our adoption fee for Gertie  is $400. How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wagoninn.rescuegroups.org .
